Review: Dior Diorskin Nude BB creme 010

When I purchased this bb cream by Dior I didn't realise how popular it already was amongst beauty bloggers. I was looking at some beauty videos by Dior on Youtube and was impressed at how natural looking and beautiful the models skin looked. I was looking for a new BB cream anyway so I decided to go onto the Debenhams website to see what the reviews where like on Dior's BB cream. This product had 5 star reviews so despite the £30 price tag I decided to buy my first make up item by Dior... and I'm SO glad I did.
This product description claims: Natural Glow Radiant Perfecting Complexion Treatment SPF 10 - PA+. A dream combination of skin care and make-up, Diorskin Nude BB Creme is the new generation complexion enhancer. Its light, melting texture enriched with natural origin skin care ingredients conceals only the undesirable and adjusts perfectly to all skin tones.
Colour
As you can see from the swatch the palest colour which is Ivory 010 has quite pink tones to it, but the BB cream seems to match my skin tone really well when applied. I think Dior should do more shades of this BB cream as they currently only have 3 and I think more shades would allow for a more perfect colour match.

Packaging
Dior's packaging seems to always be really, really good. As well as being pretty it never fails to be practical as well. Dior have cleverly given this product a pump which is brilliant and works perfectly as well as giving the overall packaging a really high quality feel.
Coverage
The coverage is light and is marked at 1/4 on their website which I really like as it has a no-make up feel to it and therefore is perfect for summer. It also has SPF 10 which is great too.
Finish
The BB cream gives a flawless natural and glowy finish which feels and looks really high quality and is probably one of the best things about this product.
Longevity
This lasts about 5 hours before it needs to be re applied and the product itself has lasted me over 2 months with daily use so at £30 I think it is really good value for money.
Overall this I would 100% recommend this to anyone who likes light make up and bb creams as this is my all time favourite bb cream.

Fashion: Style Inspiration

I don't feel like I've posted enough fashion type stuff on my blog so far (mainly because I haven't got a great camera at the moment!) As fashion is my main interest I have decided to do a post on one of my favourite outfits this month, despite the lack of camera equipment! (sorry about the not-so-great quality instagram photo)
The Jumper, Skirt and Sunglasses are from H&M and the Boots are from River Island. The boots where £70 originally but I got them half price in the sale because the zip at the back was broken! Anyway, this is an outfit I have been loving this month. I love the mustard colour of the jumper and I think it only cost around £10! Cut out style ankle boots have been really popular and I think they are great, and I think the skirt from h&m is really cute. I have seen a few people wearing it, I think it only cost £6 which is a massive bargain!

I hope you liked this post, let me know what you think

I currently don't have a contouring kit and after watching a Youtube video featuring the sleek contour kit I was impressed and I would love to try it out in the shade Light.
3. Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs 30ml - £38.50
Firstly I adore the packaging of this perfume. I think it would look beautiful on a dressing table.  There are accords of blackberries, pear, blue wisteria, jasmine and coconut water in this perfume which sounds so lovely and summery.
4. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - £22
A little bit late to the party on this one, but i've heard great things about it so I think it's defiantly time to try this well and truly raved about product soon!
5. Real Techniques Brushes - £20

The Body Shop: Foundation Brush Reveiw

The Body Shop Foundation Brush £12

The Body Shop continue to impress me with their cruelty-free and high quality products.  This Liquid foundation brush costs £12 or can be bought in the essential brush collection deal which means it comes with and eye shadow and a blusher brush for just £18 which I completely regret not getting!
The product description claims: This flat, tapered brush works brilliantly with liquid foundation. It gives an even, flawless finish... which I would agree with. The brush is soft and the bristles are high quality so it is a pleasure to use and gives an even and flawless professional looking finish. I use this daily and it is still in brilliant condition. It is fairly easy to wash too, and hasn't lost any bristles. It is one of The Body Shop's 'Beauty Gems' so I would defiantly recommend this brush to anyone. 10/10

The Body Shop: Coconut Lip Butter Review

The Body Shop Coconut Lip butter 10ml £4
Whilst in the airport waiting to go to Majorca, my lips felt very dry and I didn't have any lip balm with me. I spotted  'The Body Shop' and decided to get a lip butter in coconut as I already have the Coconut Body Mist which is so nice and smells amazing.
I think this product offers everything you would expect from a lip butter and more. The coconut range in The Body Shop is probably my favourite and this lip butter doesn't disappoint. It is hydrating, offered relief to my lips and the smell of coconut is just lovely.

I know there are 6 other lip butters available including Mango, Strawberry and Pink Grapefruit. I want them all!!
What is your favourite range in 'The Body Shop'?

Dior Addict Fluid Stick, Whisper Beige Review

Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Whisper Beige £26
Dior is one of my most favourite high end make up brands ever; so when I saw this product which claims to be a combination of the high impact colour and long lasting qualities of lipstick and the shine of a gloss on the Dior counter in Debenhams, I decided to splurge out on this pretty product.

I purchased it in the colour Whisper Beige which I absolutely LOVE as it compliments my skin tone so well.
Another thing I love about this product is the packaging. The packaging is beautiful and practical as well as being disguised as looking like a lipstick from the outside but in fact being more like a lip gloss when opened.
I think the staying power of this product could be improved, as it does need to be re-applied frequently. I also personally find it quite drying too.
As you can see it does have a lovely texture and a lovely smooth and glossy finish.
At £26 I think that it is a very expensive product, and although I am glad that I bought it I don't think I would repurchase it due to the price.
Has anyone else tried the Dior Fluidstick? What did you think? Are there any cheaper alternatives?

Travel: A Summer Holiday In Majorca

For the first time in years, in June 2014 I spent a week abroad and It was amazing. I went to Majorca on holiday with my family and as you can see the weather was beautiful.
Our hotel was in Sa Coma but this picture was taken in a back street in Calla Millor which is slightly more lively with more little shops and cafes.

I love travelling and would next like to visit Cannes in France.
Where do you want to go on your next holiday?
